Terms of Service

1. Who you're contracting with

Anchor Piece (the "Service") is operated by Anchor Piece ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, uploading a photo, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service

Anchor Piece is an AI personal styling tool. You upload a photo of a clothing item or accessory and our AI proposes outfit ideas, generates illustrative outfit images, and provides styling tips. You may save outfits to a private "closet" associated with your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
• upload content you do not have the rights to use, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any person;
• upload images of other people without their consent, or any content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, violent, or otherwise harmful;
• attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (probing, scraping, bypassing rate limits, malware, reverse engineering);
• resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs as a standalone styling product;
• use the Service to generate deepfakes, impersonate real individuals, or produce content that violates applicable AI, advertising, or consumer-protection laws.

4. AI outputs and accuracy

Outfit suggestions, generated images, descriptions, and styling tips are produced by automated systems. They may be inaccurate, mismatched, biased, or unsuitable for your context. The Service is for general styling inspiration only and is not professional advice (including but not limited to medical, legal, or financial advice). You are responsible for your prompts, the photos you upload, how you act on outputs, and verifying that anything you publish or purchase based on outputs is appropriate for your use.

We may filter, refuse, or remove inputs and outputs that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or applicable law, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly produce or request prohibited content.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the website, software, AI prompts, branding, and documentation, is owned by Anchor Piece and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial styling purposes within the plan you have purchased.

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process those photos and any prompts you submit solely to provide and improve the Service. As between you and us, you own the outfit suggestions and generated images we produce for you, subject to the underlying model providers' terms; we make no warranty that AI-generated images are free of third-party rights.

Rights complaints. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your rights, contact us with a description of the work and the allegedly infringing material. We will review good-faith complaints, may remove infringing content, and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

7. Plans, payments, and subscriptions

Anchor Piece offers a free monthly allowance of looks, one-time look packs, an optional Closet Expansion, and a Stylist Pro monthly subscription. Free looks reset monthly on the anniversary of your sign-up. Pack credits do not expire. While Stylist Pro is active, your monthly Pro allowance is consumed first and pack credits are held until the subscription lapses.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, currency, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same billing period until you cancel via the customer portal accessible from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.

8. Service availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (via Paddle) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising out of content you upload, your use of AI outputs, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our Acceptable Use rules. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel any subscription via the customer portal. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your account data after a reasonable period as described in our Privacy Notice.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Anchor Piece is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
